Overview

Packaged equipment combines pumps, engines, piping and controls on a single skid, so one failed component can stop a whole unit. Mersal Group maintains and overhauls these packages as a whole, covering both rotating and static equipment.

Our technicians follow OEM procedures, repair or replace worn parts and test each package before return, giving you one point of contact for the complete unit.

Scope of work
Pumps & rotating equipment
Overhaul of pumps and other rotating equipment, including bearings, seals and alignment.
Skid piping & valves
Inspection, repair and pressure testing of skid piping, fittings and valves.
Static equipment
Repair of vessels, tanks and frames forming part of the package.
Spare parts manufacturing
Reverse engineering and machining of replacement parts that are hard to source.
Testing & commissioning support
Function testing before dispatch and support during re-installation.

How we work
Receiving & incoming inspection
Each item is logged, cleaned and photographed on arrival. We review its service history, previous certificates and the scope agreed with you.
Disassembly & assessment
Full strip-down followed by visual, dimensional and NDT inspection to locate wear, cracks, erosion and corrosion. You receive a findings report with the recommended work.
Repair & replacement
After your approval we carry out machining, weld repair or part replacement using traceable materials and OEM-equivalent spares.
Assembly & testing
Components are reassembled to the manufacturer's fits and torque values, then function and pressure tested.
Documentation & delivery
Equipment is returned with inspection reports, test charts and a certificate of conformance, ready to go back into service.
